 26 Chablis 1er Cru William Fevre Mont de Milieu.
Partially harvested by hand with traditional vinification in stainless steel. Round, supple and very seductive with a rich and delicate nose evoking ripe fruits. Very approachable. 

27 Chateau Talbot Caillou Blanc (Bordeaux) 

This is a rare and eceptional white wine, it is grown on only 5hectares and is one of the oldest dry white wines of the Medoc. Made with 80% Sauvignon and 20% Semillon and has aromas of peaches and white blossom with a subtle combination of power and elegance.

28 Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru Girardin La Romanee 
Firm, oaky nose, strongly mineral classicly full of fruit and zest and mouth wateringly delicious.

29 Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru Domaine Louis Latour Burgundy. 
This opulent wine has an intense golden hue an abundance of tropical fruits with spicy vanilla and a powerful richness.

30 Lea and Sandeman Claret (Bordeaux)
An intense ruby red and a rich open nose with attractive aromas coupled with one of the best ever vintages in Bordeaux makes this a very special house red wine..

31 J.Bouchon Maule Valley Merlot  (Chile)
A fruity medium bodied Merlot with red berry, and a soft herby lingering aftertaste.

34 Domaine Rossignol Fevrier Bourgogne Pinot Noir
Yields have been reduced to give greater concentration of aromatic fruit displaying glorious red cherry and blackberry fruit with faint aromas of heather and redcurrant. 

35 Domaine La Garrigue Cuvee Hostellerie Vacqueyras
A fine Vacqueyras produced by the Bernard family who also own the excellent hotel/restaurant Les Florets in Gigondas. A lusty herb-tinged wine, plush aromatic and flamboyant.

36 Groote Constantia Merlot.
A fruity medium bodied Merlot with mulberry, chocolate and cinnamon flavours and a soft lingering aftertaste. Aged 12 months in new and 2 year old French oak barrels.

37 Domaine de Valmoissine Pinot Noir Louis latour
Described by Tom Stevenson in Sotheby’s Wine Encyclopaedia – “This stunning red wine is easily the greatest Vin de Pays Pinot Noir ever produced….it is so soft and silky, with such a purity of fruit and so much finesse that few Burgundians would believe that it is not a Burgundy, and a fine one at that “.

 

100% Tempranillo, fragrant aromas of cedar and spice, supple textured with lots of sweet fruits, soft tannins and excellent balance.

 

Built in the 18th Century, owned by Eric Fournier President of the 1er Cotes de Bordeaux Syndicate. Made of 55% Merlot for roundness and 25% Cabernet sauvignon for spicy aromas and tannins, lovely with meat and game.
