Chateau Mouton Rothschild

1. Butford Farm "Aurora" Bottle Fermented Perry.

 Using Old fashioned varieties of Pears, Barland, Blakeney & Oldfield, 5% Alcohol, Fruity & Delicious. Made in Herefordshire.

 

 

2. Cremant de Bourgogne.  1er Cru Blanc de Blanc Brut  Vintage 2004
Very pale straw, medium bodied and medium dry - rounded, ripe, grapefruit and lemon flavours. Excellent balance with fresh acidity and a long finish. A delicate wine that is drinking well now - ideal as an aperitif.

3 Joseph Perrier NV Cuvée Royale
Traditional assemblage of Chardonnay (35%),  Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier (65%).  Pale golden colour and fine mousse.  Fresh and refreshing, with a full, round body, which comes from a minimum of 3 years ageing in bottle.

4 Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label  N/V
Pale straw colour, very light, fruity, biscuity toasty aroma, with persistent and tiny bubbles; vanilla and bread flavours  Very dry; very balanced.

5 Louis Roederer Brut 1er Cru
Very fresh nose,  lovely clean fresh taste on the palate, firm with a strong mousse.

6 Gosset Grande Reserve   

A Chardonnay/Pinot Noir blend, notes of orange and citrus fruits, strawberries & redcurrants. A soft creamy mousse and very good indeed 

7 Gosset Grand Rose

 A blend of 55% Pinot Noir & 45% Chardonnay both from Premier Cru Vineyards. Strong, bright pink colour with aromas of fresh, ripe red fruits. Silky Smooth.Hand picked from Premier Cru & Grand Cru Vines. The oldest Champagne House.A blend of 55% Pinot Noir and 45% Chardonnay, both from Premier Cru vineyards. Strong, bright pink colour with aromas of fresh, ripe red fruits. Creamy red fruit flavours on the palate. Silky smooth 

8. Ruinart Brut Rose

Quite a pronounced brioche scented nose, superb vibrant acidity. Very pretty and refined on the finish, this is very good for the vintage.

9. Pol Roger Vintage Brut.

Quite a pronounced brioche-scented nose, superb, vibrant acidity, sharp and cutting. Very pretty and refined on the finish - this is very good for the vintage

 

10 Bollinger Grande Annee 1997

Mid gold hue, clean citrus nose, showing some toastiness and smokiness.

 11 Krug Brut "Grande Cuvée"

Clear light gold, complex, floral, sherry and caramel aromas with very fine bubbles.

12 Pol Roger Cuvee Sir Winston Churchill 1995
He first encountered the champagne in 1908 and on armistice day in 1945, then it was the 1928 cuvee that was served to the victorious P.M. This has a wonderful fragrant nose, minerals and a touch of wild strawberry. A very smooth harmonious palate, apples and a lovely creamy texture. Excellent.

13 Laurent Perrier Rose Grand Siecle 'Alexandra'

The rarest and most precious wine of Laurent-Perrier made in extremely limited quantities and only from the very best vintages. Sumptuously rich, elegant and bottled in a replica 17thC bottle Unmistakebly older style cuvee, from the colour to the miniscule bead, a classic.He first encountered the champagne in 1908 and on Armistice Day in 1945, it was the 1928 Cuvée that was served to the victorious PM.  A wonderful, fragrant nose: minerals and a touch of wild strawberry. A very smooth, harmonious palate, apples, citrus fruits and a lovely creamy texture. This is beginning to open up. Excellent.Clear light gold; complex, floral, sherry and caramel aromas very fine bubbles; good balance, tart; very long finishing  12% alcohol. Unmistakably older style cuvée, from the colour to the minuscule bead, considered to be a classic style.
