To confirm this booking and your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions download the Terms and Conditions PDF. This form must be completed and returned to us by post, fax 020 7497 1081 or email the PDF to info@rules.co.uk. Alternatively, if you make your booking by e-mail, you shall be deemed to accept these Terms & Conditions by clicking on the “Submit” button, despite anything to the contrary stated in your booking. Your conditions of booking (if any) shall not apply to this Contract. No variation of, or in addition to, these terms shall take effect unless agreed in writing by us.

PAYMENTS
Rules accepts the following major Credit and Debit Cards, American Express, Mastercard, Visa, Maestro, Delta and JCB. Payment by cheque will only
be accepted if the cheque has cleared our bank account in advance of the date of the function. Please make cheques payable to Rules Restaurant Ltd.
Payment for any balance outstanding on the evening of the function can only be accepted in cash or on one of our accepted Credit/Debit Cards.
Should you wish to pay by more than one card on the day, prior notice would be required.

ALLOCATION OF DINING ROOMS
We reserve the right to change the allocation of the Dining Room from the commencement of a provisional booking through to the day of the event,
without payment of compensation. There are four Private Dining Rooms seating from 6 to 18, each has its own full bar (measures are 50 millilitres
(large measures) unless otherwise stated). ABar price list is available on request, unfortunately, we do not have the facility to operate a cash bar.
Lunch parties must vacate the room by 4.30pm. Dinner parties may arrive from 6.00pm.

SUBSTITUTIONS AND EXTRACOURSES
It is possible to change dishes from one menu to another or extend the menu by adding an extra course, such as a fish dish, although it may affect the
quoted prices. THE CHOSEN MENU MUST BE THE SAME FOR ALLTHE GUESTS, however, VEGETARIAN, VEGAN AND OTHER DIETARY
REQUIREMENTS CAN BE CATERED FOR.

ADDITIONALITEMS YOU MAY REQUIRE
Canapés £7.50 per person. English Cheese £10.50 per person. Petit Fours £3.50 per person. Birthday cakes made to order by prior arrangement £50.00
The Private Dining Rooms are always decorated with Fresh Flowers but we do charge £40.00 for a special display. VAT @ 17.5% is included in all of our prices.

SERVICE CHARGE
A15% charge will be added to your bill, which will be distributed to the banqueting staff.

CONFIRMATION/CANCELLATION FEES
We require a non-refundable deposit of £50 per person or if your party is fewer than 8 in number, a deposit of £400. Should you cancel within 48 hours of the function, the full function fee for your party.based on the meny chosen and confirmed numbers in your most recent correspondence, will be payable to Rules Restaurant Limited.  Any cancellation must be in writing.

STAG/HEN PARTIES
Please note that Rules Private Dining Rooms do not accept Stag or Hen parties - any party booked for such an event will be subject to refusal on arrival.

RULES PREMISES
Our Private Dining Rooms are situated on the 1st and 2nd floors and unfortunately, there is no lift access to the rooms.
Numbers and minimum spend for the rooms are as follows:-
John Betjeman 6-8 guests minimum spend £400
Charles Dickens 9-10 guests minimum spend £500
Edward VII 11-14 guests minimum spend £700
Graham Greene 15-18 guests minimum spend £900
