That was the banner headline in the London Evening Standard which reported on Square Meal magazine honouring venues that have been successful for generations. Included was Rules which the magazine said had thrived for decades by continuing to offer good quality food. The Editor, Gaby Huddart, said “The old names which ply their trade day in, day out are unsung heroes.”
